I really love your blog! I'm an animal fanatic and I volunteered at a shelter where there were so many pit-bulls, but they were so sweet. It's really sad that nobody wants them. My dad says they should get rid of the breed and I don't understand how he can say that. Every dog deserves a second chance. Every animal does. Keep up the good work! :)
Hello! Thanks for the note! It’s sad to hear your dad’s perspective - unfortunately many feel the same as he does. It’s too bad the media has stereotyped and branded the Pit Bull as a breed of dog filled with evil. It’s also too bad that many people believe everything the media tells them. I’m honored to be able to assist in helping the dogs, while changing peoples’ minds! Just today we had an elderly man who was unsure about Pits put in an application to adopt one to use as his cancer therapy dog! All it took was him meeting a few and talking to rescue volunteers. :)
